History: The Champion's QUEST Journey
“I have become confident, positive and pro-active in my life and athletics.” - 13y.o. water polo player - Los Alamitos, CA
July 2000 Greg Moss founded a youth sports training company called BadCall Sports. He believed that within each athlete there is a champion. Champions are forged through a combination of successes and failures, but it's the failures and the recovery from failures that convert athletes to champions. BadCall was a metaphor for overcoming failures.
September 2000 Ryan Bishel, who had the same philosophy as Greg Moss, was brought on as the master trainer and set out to create the school for athletes that it is today.
January 2004 A group of parents, who believed so much in the philosophy that was being instilled into their kids and the success stories that were being created, decided to invest in the company. BadCall became Champion's QUEST, as a metaphor for the journey traveled by winning athletes. Soon thereafter, Champion's QUEST opened its Athlete Academy for elite & developing athletes in Los Alamitos, CA.

"Champion’s Quest has taught me to not be so hard on myself and to be a more confident athlete. I like that the trainers believe in me and push me to become a stronger and better athlete. I have learned how much to push myself to get where I want to be, and be the best athlete. Because of Champion’s Quest I try much harder when practicing and find things being easier to do."
