Jessica Adams
ATHLETE PERFORMANCE COACH,
VOLLEYBALL SKILLS COACH
Jessica (Buffum) Adams joined Champion’s Quest after finishing the high school volleyball season as a coach with the El Dorado Frosh/Soph team in Placentia, CA. Jessica has been involved with volleyball since playing as a young girl growing up in San Jose. Playing for City Beach Volleyball Club, Jessica led her team in Junior Nationals to a bronze medal in 2000 and 2001, a gold medal in 2002, and a silver medal in 2004. Attending Lynbrook high school, Jessica was named MVP and a scholar athlete in her sophomore, junior, and senior year.
Jessica was a top recruit out of Northern California and chose Georgetown University over Duke and Princeton to pursue her dreams and passion for volleyball at the Division I level in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association.) Playing outside hitter for the Hoyas, Jessica was named MVP of the Georgetown Classic Tournament and the Big East Conference volleyball player of the week as a sophomore in September 2006.
After her sophomore season, Jessica transferred to Biola University, finishing her last two seasons of collegiate volleyball in the GSAC (Golden State Athletic Conference) of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.) As a junior, Jessica was elected to the All-GSAC team in 2007. She continued to lead her team to the National tournament and finished with a rank of 3rd place in the nation. Hungry for more accomplishments, Jessica matched her senior season with another 3rd place finish in the National Tournament. She also added GSAC volleyball player of the week and a spot on the All-NAIA Championship Tournament Team to finish her collegiate career.
Jessica began her academic career inspired to pursue a degree in the medical field and decided to finish her degree in Kinesiology and graduated Cum Laude. With experience in the athletic training room at Biola, Jessica knew she wanted to continue to work with athletes, specifically young volleyball players, “I want to train the next generation of athletes to be confident in their abilities, diligent in hard work, and competitive to do their absolute best.”
Jessica credits her older sister as her hero for getting her involved into volleyball as a kid. Interesting fact about Jessica, her first words were “Taco Bell.” Jessica currently resides in Anaheim with her husband Dave.

"Champions Quest has helped me become a more all-around athlete and my personal success is that my average for hitting is .645 and I've pitched 10 innings with one earned run. I got stronger and faster. That focus helps me in baseball and if I dedicate myself I'll do good things in life. Champions Quest is more one on one compared to practice."
