Develop explosive power
The development of strength using multiple joint and multiple muscle stimulation that mimics athletic movement
For all competitive hockey teams and athletes, strength training now plays a major role. Hockey requires functional strength training that combines explosive power with muscular endurance. The Champion’s Quest Peak Performance Program for hockey players uses proprietary functional strength development methods based on years of training and research with young hockey players.
The stronger your muscles are in relationship to your own bodyweight, the faster you will skate, the harder you will hit, and the easier you will overpower and outmaneuver your opponent. We combine fundamental biomechanical athletic movement with resistance and endurance based strength development. Next, we add fast twitch muscle fiber recruitment and core strength. The result is hockey athletes who consistently dominate the ice because they outrun, outplay, outperform, and outlast their opponents.

"I've gone through many injuries and surgeries in my life and I've overcome them all and still made first team defense in one of the hardest leagues in the nation. It gets me faster and they have people to push me. Also, to always stay positive, never give up, and always go 100%. The focus on a single element to get better at a time so I get maximum results."
