Become Pro-Active
Use predictive insight to get ahead of the play
The great soccer player Pele, when asked what made him such a great soccer player, responded, “I can see the play unfold on the field before it ever happens.” This is a common characteristic of many great athletes. It’s called pro-activity. It comes in part from being so confident in your athletic ability that your mind is completely free to focus on the game. When you’re not worried that you are going to lose the ball, not run fast enough or miss a goal, you can focus your thoughts on the game dynamics. Confidence is directly correlated to ability. Even if you’re not the fastest player on the team, you can make up for your speed by being able to anticipate an upcoming move! Every Champion’s Quest athlete increases their confidence. With sound fundamental athletic ability as a foundation an athlete can focus on winning.
