The power in a shot or a header comes from the core muscle group. Shot and header effectiveness is increased by having faster muscle movement and higher vertical leap. Your vertical power can be improved through strength training by increasing your leg, core and upper body strength to position yourself in the air perfectly to hit or head the ball. Champion’s Quest athletes develop strength in the key muscle groups needed to make the best shots and headers.
