“During this past Summer I had the opportunity to work with a young man that with the right guidance will be making it into the NHL one day. This would be the third Summer that we have worked together and I believe that Aidan Hreshuck not has a name that fits into the NHL but has the work ethic to push him to that level. The past Summer we worked on getting him ready for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program in Plymouth, Michigan for his last two years of his high school career. This means that that he will be living with a host family in Plymouth driving himself everywhere, cooking his meals and yes, doing his own laundry. For most young men in sports, these are the things you need a strong mother to help with.
Aidan’s mother is a bit nervous for him but also excited that her son will be increasing his skill and knowledge of the sport from our National Team Coaches. He was one of 52 top Youth American Hockey players born in the year 2003 invited to a USA Hockey Camp in March for a chance to be on the U.S. National Under-17 Hockey Team. Out of the 52 young men who attended the camp early this year, Aidan was one of 23 athletes that made the team to stay in Plymouth who will train and play together for the next two years. Of those 23 athletes, there were a total of 13 Forwards, 8 Defensemen and 2 Goaltenders selected to join the team.
His two year residency in Plymouth will be a very drastic change from what we are used too out here in Southern California. He will be training and playing with other youth Hockey athletes from 14 different states across the country. They started their play in September and it goes through April of next year, which is somewhat longer than what he is used too on his Jr Kings Team out here in Southern California. During their season they will be traveling to few cities in Canada and overseas to Russia as well. During his travels up into Canada, the team will be playing in the Worlds Under-17 Challenge.
This U.S. team that Aidan has been chosen for is in it’s 22nd season of competition and is a strong indicator of his talents to play at the next level. Aidan is currently committed to Boston College on an athletic scholarship once he is done with his two year commitment in Plymouth. When he returns in June of 2020 we will be getting back to our training to prepare him for his college career on the ice. Aidan is very much focused on playing in the NHL and as he continues to grow in the sport I feel that he will get his chance to showcase his talents at the professional level. Good luck with your travels and keep your focus!”

“My son Braeden has been coming to Champions Quest since January 2019. Prior to this, he was in AAU club basketball for several years, while there were times he was successful, it got to a point where he had lost all his confidence due to negative/harsh criticism. Braeden has worked with Coach Reggie doing 1-hour private sessions every week for several months and is now comfortable adding clinics to his training schedule (complete transformation). Coach Reggie has made a profound impact on Braeden; he is stronger, more confident, and more focused. He is now comfortable working with Derrick, and the other coaches and is having “FUN” with his workout routine. Reggie and everyone else on the coaching staff, has reversed all the self-doubt my son had coming into this program. Thank you Champions Quest for partnering with our family to cultivate a culture of excellence with Braeden.”

“Her first game back today. Aly scores within 5 min of game start. She played so well and so hungry . She was so much more aggressive. I asked her how it happened? She said Champion’s quest mom – I already feel different !!!!! Please share with Adrianna ! She gave your props for her game performance today !!!”

“Julian has enjoyed the training here at Champion’s QUEST. I can really see him improving and getting stronger.”

“The reason we enrolled Meredith in Champion’s QUEST was to focus and improve on volleyball, but she has embraced the other clinics there and has improved overall in her fitness and coordination. Meredith has improved immensely in volleyball–serving overhand, reacting quickly during sets, and overall focus during the game. We have noticed that she is sleeping soundly and longer than before the program and that her general mood has been stabilized in comparison to before. Her athletic goals for this year in volleyball are to improve on all aspects of the game, and eventually by the end of the year, get on a local club team! I would recommend your program to all parents who have young athletes who need the extra focus and attention to their sport. Champion’s QUEST is a top-rated facility with amazing instructors who inspire the kids to take to the next level!”

“Ethan’s experience at Champion’s Quest has been good. He has gotten a lot stronger since he started and you can see it on the field too. He is more confident now from when he first started and is not afraid when fighting for the ball because he knows he has gotten stronger.”

“Hey Reggie. Just a heads up. They won the tournament. Cameron played well.. Shot very well today. Still has a way to go bringing down rebounds. Ball gets taken from him quite a bit on both ends of the court. Best part of my day. This morning I said coach Reggie wants 100 shots up before we leave and he jumped up and ran outside and got to work. Last year that would have been a struggle. So I’m extremely thankful for that impact you’ve had on him. Appreciate the work you’re putting in with him.”

“Her sister had experienced great improvement from her training at CQ and wanted to help Lauren improve her performance and confidence. The High School programs can’t provide the focus and individual attention needed for athletes to reach their full potential. CQ is able to create the customized program for each athlete.”

“Mia feels stronger, has fun, gets a full body workout the program is overall physical improvement besides the sport she trains. I like the friendly environment and feel safe having my daughter in the program.”

“Dear Ryan and Coach Reggie, Hope your both enjoying this amazing weather. Trevor has decided to commit and take his next steps on his path to becoming an elite athlete. In order to accomplish this, we all agreed joining the family at Champion Quest is the next course of action. As with all families, we find this to be a very big financial sacrifice It’s extra, however, in the big picture we knew It wasn’t just about money but about what it would/will do for Trevor as he matures to be a respectful, kind, successful man of his family and community. We feel Champion’s QUEST will partner perfectly in accomplishing these overall goals. As he trains, we know the commitment, dedication and confidence will translate within himself in – our home, the classroom, and on the field!”

“Our son, Jack Godsil, has been attending CQ since August 2016. During some of this time he has worked very closely with Coach Aaron. We couldn’t be happier with all of Jack’s successes because of all the time Aaron has worked with him. Aaron goes beyond what a baseball coach does by taking a personal interest in his athlete. He does this by going to his athletes’ games and then following up with a discussion on where the athlete needs improvement. He is always available to his athlete for questions or concerns they may have. As a parent, you want an open line of communication with your child’s coach to get feedback on their progress. Aaron has made a huge difference in Jack’s athletic career and we are eternally grateful to him.”

“We were amazed with Roxy’s results. We have all noticed a great improvement both physically and mentally from Roxy on the pitch. She’s no longer getting knocked off the ball as easy as she used to. This was one of our main concerns and reason she re-joined Champion’s QUEST. The Champion’s QUEST staff is amazing and we want to thank both you and Coach Brittany for your guidance and dedication.”

“12 year son old (Alexander) can’t wait to get to champions quest for his training. Great for athletes of all ages. My 14 year-old son (Auggie) loves the work outs and all of the trainers. He’s made new friends as well. As a parent I can appreciate the professionalism of the staff. It is apparent that they love what they do and are very good at it to. This is the place that will elevate your student athletes performance and confidence.”

“Thank you for all of your effort in helping Katie. She learned a ton of really valuable information form you. She knows that when she walks into any gym on any college campus, she will be able to create a workout and use all the equipment in the correct manner. Her knees are doing much better- she has had no pain for a really long time.”

Recap on this week and some immediate improvement I see in my children:
“Good evening, Coach Reggie!
Benjamin is sharing his healthy eating choices with the family, and most notably, his example is reflecting upon his younger sibling, Sage. Sage is taking the lead on her homework as early as she is allowed to take the initiative to complete it timely and accurately without prodding or being reminded. She credits this as being the “C” in Champion as challenging yourself. “I am a champion and champion’s prepare to win!” –Her quote. Dad will be using this as well. Yesterday, Benjamin played his first game of fall ball at Ladera Little League (Maroon Team) against North Venice Little League. New team, new coaches, new position (at 3rd base). His fielding was good. Two catches for two outs, 1 being a game-winning stoppage to secure lead against two runners. Benjamin’s coach later told me that his ‘vested’ 3rd basemen was “goofing off” and “not paying attention” in the dugout. He called on my son because “he was alert and paying attention. I sent him to 3rd to see how he would work out and he caught a whole lot of action. Yeah, Benjamin made the decision of the game. He stopped their late rally and momentum.I used this as a teachable moment. The name I hear at home are now Coach Reggie and Coach Ryan.”

“I believe Kristin has improved amazingly in every category. Mostly her speed and ability to give a full game giving 100%. Strength has also also helped her use her body going against bigger and stronger girls. Kristin enjoys coming out and improving on anything that will help her improve her game. She loves the challenge.”
“Kristin’s improvements were so significant that her father decided to also enroll her older brother Oscar into the Champion’s QUEST Soccer Academy as well. Oscar Mijares III is a senior at Cerritos High school and plays club soccer for FC Premier.”
“Oscar has improved in knowing how to use his speed. He’s gotten stronger and gained power in his take offs and his ball passing. Oscar enjoys the help he gets to correct his bad habits. He likes to hear feedback from the coaches on what would help him get better.”
Oscar Mijares Jr.
“I think if you want your athlete to improve their skills and their attitude towards their sport and competing that you can’t find a program any better than Champion’s QUEST Athlete Academy. They’ll increase speed, coordination and sport specific abilities while improving their attitude towards competition.
Since Judy started at CQ she’s improved her overall fitness and athletic ability along with her coordination, self esteem and confidence. I definitely believe the staff at CQ, especially Derrick shouting out Judy!, has made her grow in so many ways.
The reason why I got Judy into Champion’s Quest is to improve Judy’s fitness. Like Meggan said she wasn’t very strong and she was surprised she could swim but she did have some blue division times in swimming but couldn’t do anything outside of a pool and I wanted to improve that for her. She did say after a year or so of Champion’s Quest, that she felt confident enough and had developed the skills to try another sport. She ended up doing rowing but she felt with the skills she learned from Champion’s that she could even try water polo, etc.
I think the staff at Champion’s has been a big motivator for her. I think that the support and enthusiasm that the staff, especially you Derrick, have given her has built up her self esteem and desire to do better. I have recommended Champions Quest to other families and always talk about your program and how positive it is on the kids! So absolutely I would highly recommend Champion’s Quest!!!”

“CQ provides Austin with everything he needs to help him accomplish his goals. From the facility, to the team of dedicated professionals, to the peers he works out with, CQ delivers the total package. Austin recognizes the knowledge and experience of the CQ Coaches and is driven harder and harder as a result. Most importantly, Austin enjoys working with other athletes who have like goals and dreams. In the 7 months since joining CQ Austin’s confidence and the belief that he can play college baseball has increased tremendously. He knows that if he puts in the work, he can not fail. Thus, he takes advantage of every opportunity to train and learn from the Coaches and peers that surround him.”

“Cole started with Champion’s Quest in December. Cole gained strength, agility, and most importantly, greater confidence in his abilities over the course of his program at Champion’s Quest. Cole acquired a significant competitive edge at a critical point in his volleyball career as a result of the expertise provided through Champion’s Quest, and he and his parents are grateful for that.
During the high school boys volleyball season, Cole led his team in kills and aces. His team won the Foothill Varsity Tournament, and Cole was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. The team finished second in the Sunset League, trailing only Huntington Beach. Their final CIF Division 1 ranking was tenth. They were a CIF quarterfinalist, winning two playoff matches, including an upset of seventh-ranked Dana Hills in the second round.
At the Los Alamitos High Senior Night, Cole received the United States Army Reserve National Scholar / Athlete Award. He also received the Golden State Seal of Merit, was a member of the National Honor Society, and received Academic Honors from the high school.
Cole will attend St. Francis University of Pennsylvania in the fall. He received scholarships for both academic merit and athletics. He will major in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, and he will be a member of their Division 1 Men’s Volleyball team. Thank you, Coach Derrrick!”

“Henry is progressing! Joyce and I were just talking and remembering back when Henry first expressed interest in Champions Quest and going through the initial evaluations. Big differences. As parents we try to step back and look at all the pieces that make up Henry and we know that last year his athleticism and his confidence about his athletic abilities was weighing on him. And seeing him ask for CQ, stick with CQ, put a lot of value on CQ and see the results has been such a confidence boost on and off the playing field. I know that your efforts and role with Henry have taught him about being thoughtful, setting goals and doing the work.
Just two weeks ago Henry made the Academic Decathlon team at his school. That is a big deal for him given that he beat out a lot of kids including a handful of his buddies all of which are really good students. The reason I mention this is because you and CQ have had a big influence in developing a broad set of tools for Henry. Academics have always been a place where Henry thrives. But in a real way Henry has often been under-challenged in school and maybe has not had the need to develop effective academic work habits. But with Academic Decathlon, he was up against a fair amount of competition from classmates and students a year ahead of him and he stuck with it and was able to balance all the other responsibilities and manage his time and make the necessary sacrifices. The lessons and reinforcement from you and CQ totally helped give Henry the necessary building blocks.
Long way of saying Thank You Logan. Your role in Henry’s journey to become a good, confident and capable man is very much appreciated. We all know Henry is a young man of few words, but I can say with absolute certainty he is very thankful for you and CQ.”

“Derek has been coming to Champion’s Quest for about 6 months now and the speed and strength has changed a whole ton! His confidence level has gone up and he looks forward to coming to Champion’s Quest! The trainers have helped him develop to achieve his goals and to never quit believing that with commitment and mental focus he’s slowly becoming a champion. Derek went from being scared to steal a base to asking can I steal on the first pitch! If you ask Derek what he looks forward to on Tuesdays it’s coming to Champion’s Quest B.A.S.E. clinics with Logan to train and train hard to achieve his goal to play baseball at Long Beach State.”
